What is an assessment/CPSR?

It is “permission” to sell a product. It basically means that an assessor with the qualifications required has assessed the products that can be made, and has deemed them as safe to be used by people.

Are your products vegan?

None of our products have been tested on animals. The majority of our ingredients are sourced from nature/plants. Occasionally we may have an ingredient which contains something that we are unable to find out whether it is of animal or plant origins – in this case, we write that by the listing on the website.

Do I need an assessment if making for my own use?

Anything placed “on the market” will require an assessment. This is either items you are selling but also giving away for free. We advise the general rule of thumb which is to only make products for your own household. So feel free to create and go wild as part of your hobby.

Am I able to buy everything for an assessment from you?

Yes – we stock all ingredients for the recipes in our assessments.

How do I get the assessment recipe?

Our process is semi-automatic. Once you have paid for the recipe/assessment and checked out, then the recipe is available immediately in your Soak Rochford “downloads” area. 

Do you ship to my country/what are your postage prices?

We ship worldwide and postage changes are dependent on your area. If you look in the checkout area the website will tell you how much. We provide free shipping for orders over £100 within the UK.

What are Soak rewards?

Soak Rewards are points collected on purchases. They can also be won in competitions or giveaways, and are also awarded for website product reviews. At the checkout, they can easily be exchanged towards a payment towards your order. 

Can you make my labels for me?

Unfortunately, we don’t offer a label service. However, there is a lot of information with the assessment and also in our Soak Rochford Facebook Support Group.
