Discover why this assessment has become a customer favourite
Its unusual consistency and hands-on process quickly turned the whipped soap assessment into one of our Soakies favourites. From pretty pastels to in-your-face neons, this product (can also be called shower whip, body souffle, moisturising soap) gives you the freedom to let your imagination run wild.
See below for a range of whipped soap tips including Jay Rochford’s advice, what Soakies have to say, the best tools for your process and some creative inspiration.

Jay’s Advice:
- Be prepared to make a mess! The first few times you make whipped soap you can get it everywhere.
- Really wide piping nozzles, and nice thick piping bags are best too.
- Some people prefer to use an electric stand mixer with flexi paddle beaters which scrape the bowl as they go. A cheaper alternative to this is to use an electric hand whisk. They are much cheaper and will usually last well. They mix the soap really well but you will need to stop periodically to scrape the sides of the bowl.
What Soakies Say:
- Love the whipped soap assessment. To any newbies I would definitely say to be prepared to make a mess. This simple recipe makes it possible for your very first batch to be perfect. Also, don’t forget the added extra of whipped soap sponges! These take whipped soap to the next level and are super fun to make!
- This assessment is honestly really easy to work with. I picked this up within a week of practising, lovely assessment and my customers give me excellent feedback!
- Love it! So easy to make. Only advice I’d personally give is don’t make the colours too dark as they can stain the skin!
The Best Tools:
- 12 Piece Piping Nozzles: These reusable metal piping nozzles provide an assorted selection of 12 nozzles with dimensions of 3cm x 4cm. Experiment with them all and find out which nozzle creates the perfect style of whipped soap you’re looking to achieve.
