Meet one of the lovely ladies who keep our Facebook group running smoothly

Debbie Wright and Jess Smith are two long-time Soakies who help us to make sure that our Facebook Support Group is a fun, helpful, kind and safe space for all of our customers to come together. 

Although you’ll often find them in the group running competitions, hosting destashes and much more, we thought it was about time we dragged them into the spotlight to truly show our appreciation for all the work they do.

Meet one of our Soak Support Group admins: Debbie Wright

What’s the name of your business and how can people shop with you? 

Wright’s Bath Products. Customers can shop online for wholesale orders. Retail is via my Facebook page, via messenger, or TikTok.

I am live on TikTok most days demonstrating making and painting. I also give tips and advice to new and established makers. 

What made you get into cosmetic creating? 

I have been a crafter for over 25 years, including card making, book folding, scrabble box pictures and vinyl prints. I came across a bath bomb maker on YouTube when browsing one day and gave it a go. It intrigued me and just grew from there. 

Do you have a product that you like making best? 

I love making the larger mega bath bombs as it brings out the creative side of me.

What would your advice be for first-time creators? 

Be organised. Do lots of research, reading and watching other makers. Start small. See what your customers are interested in buying. Then concentrate on one assessment at a time. Start with easy-release moulds, with little detail, to avoid frustration. Buy samples from other makers, to give an idea of how the finished product looks and to see if the outcome is what you are looking for.
