Have dedicated branding

This includes your colours, fonts and the type of imagery you use on a regular basis which will develop strong brand retention.

For example, whenever you see bright red and yellow next to each other your mind instantly goes to the most famous fast-food chain of all. You want to strive to achieve that same effect on your customers.

Have core products

Don’t spread yourself too thin. The phrase “jack of all trades, master of none” comes to mind!

Develop your products and make sure your customers are happy enough with the quality and the design, so they remain loyal to your brand and won’t go elsewhere. Then, in the future, you can look at expanding your range.

Have a strong tone of voice

You should imagine your brand as a person. How would they speak? Do they swear? Are they the type of person who would use emojis, or are they more serious?

This sets boundaries and gives your audience a persona to connect with. For example, they might feel offended if they try and joke with you but don’t get anything back. To avoid this, make it clear from the offset what kind of communications they can expect.
