Liquid Crystal Concentrate is a 34% active, concentrated blend of surfactants that can be used for the formulation of shampoos, shower gels, bubble baths or liquid hand washes.

Product Characteristics
- Dilute with water to the desired concentration to produce shampoos, shower gels foam baths or liquid hand washes
- Thickens to desired viscosity with a salt solution
- Neutral odour provides excellent fragrance lift
The Liquid Crystal Concentrate system provides a simple way of producing a variety of Personal Care Cleansing products of consistent quality. It allows you to efficiently and cost effectively manufacture a range of cleansing products.The addition of Liquid Pearl, and / or Conditioning Additive increases the look and feel of the product allowing a wide range of variants to be produced from a single concentrate.
How to Make:
Liquid Crystal Concentrate – Add the desired weight required
Note – Your solution needs be between 15/25% LCC with the
remainder as deionised/softened water.
Eg. 20% LCC + 80% deionised water
Eg. 15% LCC + 85% deionised water
Add between 0.3/0.5% fragrance / essential oil
Mix together for 10-15 minutes until essential oils are dispersed
Whilst stiring, add small quantities of salt solution, 0.1% at a time until
desired viscosity is achieved
Fill into your finished packaging
Open – Simply open the packaging and measure your desired amount of
Liquid Crystal Concentrate .
Prepare – Make up a 20% salt solution in warm deionised or softened
water. Do not add untill the final stage.
Add – Add your Essential Oils / Fragrances of your choice to your liquid
base. We recommend adding no more 0.5% to the LCC to maintain clarity.
Mix – Gradually mix the materials together in a suitable container until
smooth and homogeneous, approx. 10 – 15 minutes.
Thicken – Add small quantities of your 20% salt solution whilst mixing until
desired viscosity is reached.
Fill – Once finished, fill into your packaging, bottles or tubs. (always run full
stability testing prior to sale / distribution)
