The friendlier sibling to SLS and SLES. Much gentler on skin, as the particle size is less likely to be absorbed into skin.
As well as being Kosher, and Sulfate Free, this SLSa has not been tested on animals for cosmetics/home use.

Sodium Lauryl Sulfoacetate (SLSa) is a mild, anionic surfactant derived from coconut and palm kernel oils. It’s known for creating luxurious foam and bubbles, making it a perfect choice for bath bombs, bubble bars, and other skin-friendly personal care products.
SLSa is especially ideal for bath bombs because it disperses easily in water without causing skin irritation. Its ability to create long-lasting, rich foam enhances the bathing experience, transforming bath bombs into a bubbly, sensory treat. Unlike harsher alternatives like SLS and SLES, SLSa is much gentler on the skin, making it a safer option for all skin types, including sensitive skin. Its larger particle size reduces the likelihood of skin absorption, and it produces creamy foam that leaves the skin feeling soft and moisturised.
This sulfate-free surfactant is also Kosher and cruelty-free, with no animal testing involved. Our high-quality SLSa is odourless, unlike many other varieties that can have a strong detergent smell. A little goes a long way, with a maximum usage rate of 5%—ideal for bath bomb formulations and other dry ingredients.
While the manufacturer handles other chemicals, it’s highly unlikely that this contains allergens listed under REACH 2003/15/EC.
