Here’s What You Might Have Missed

October was a turbulent month but we’re on our way back to normal

If you’re one of our Soakies who likes to keep a close eye on us, you’ll be well aware of the rollercoaster ride that was October. 

First of all, our Soak Rochford Support Group was taken down following false accusations of it going against community guidelines. Then, due to a staff member’s hacked personal account, our Facebook page was suspended while its activity was reviewed. 

However, we’re slowly starting to gain momentum again, so we want to give you an update on anything you might have missed and what’s going on behind the scenes at Soak Rochford HQ.

Soak Rochford Support Group

We were so worried about our Soakies not having a direct line to ourselves and the cosmetic creator community, we quickly created a second version of our group. As our original group has now been reinstated (yay!) along with all of its content, we now have two groups.

The original group will continue to be a place for creators to ask us any questions, reach out to other Soakies for assistance, share designs they’re proud of and much more. We are still considering how to make our second group most effective, but it’s looking like it will be somewhere for constant destash sales to help Soakies sell unnecessary tools and ingredients and to purchase a bargain.

We’re still in the process of speaking to Facebook about removing the hacked accounts from the backend of the business. Until they’ve done this, the Soak page will remain hidden from view to stop any malicious, unapproved content from being shared.

Our team is regularly asking Facebook for an update as to when we can get back to normal, but they are yet to give us a date. Once everything has been fixed, rest assured we’ll be back posting as normal.

Soak’s December Countdown

We are so excited to announce that, for the third consecutive year, Soak’s December Countdown is returning. 

Soak’s December Countdown will run from 21st to 30th November and provide our customers with daily discounts to use on a wide range of products. Every 24 hours, a new discount code will be released that gives Soakies a percentage off a certain item.

Wise Wax Airbrushing Tutorial

Deborah Jones, the airbrushing mastermind behind Wise Wax, blessed our Soakies with a tutorial on how to create the stunning gradients she showcases so well in her designs. 

It’s a whopping two hours of pure airbrushing genius that any Soakie who wants to master their craft should grab a cuppa to sit down and watch it with. You have to be a member of our group to watch, so make sure to join here.
