UK/EU Restrictions at time of listing: Not to be used in Lip Products.
Rates of usage are dependent on your assessments, and personal preference, but please use the below as a good starting point:
- Clear Melt and Pour- 0.25% – 0.5%
- Opaque Melt and Pour Bases- 1.5% – 2%
- Cold Process Soap- 1.0% – 5%
Micas can also be used to colour all types of wax, but are not suggested for non display candles, as the mica particles may block wicks and extinguish the flame.
Micas can also be painted onto soaps, or used with soap stamps.
If you mix the Mica powder with alcohol, you can also paint beautiful details onto bath bombs. We would suggest the use of Polysorbate 80 in your recipe, to help disperse the pigment and avoid mica lines around the tub.

Such a amazing colour, am personally weird about using anything green as I don’t think it will turn out, but another colour I’ve been proven wrong with! Looks fantastic when painting with it and fantastic in the water

This is my favourite green. It’s true to its colour when added to CP soap. Mixes really easy with a few drops of oil. Compliments so many colours. Beautiful !
