Kerax Kerawax Pillar Blend (4600)

Kerax Kerawax 4600 is an optimal choice for crafting candles, suitable for various types such as pillars, votives, tea lights, tarts, and tapers. It exhibits superb compatibility with both dyes and fragrances. Unlike certain natural waxes prone to frosting/blooming, this paraffin wax ensures a consistent appearance. The wax imparts a stunning ultra-gloss finish, boasting excellent burning characteristics and scent diffusion. Specifically designed for the creation of high-end, luxurious candles, it guarantees a smooth and visually appealing outcome. This wax eliminates the need for additives and requires two to three pours, effortlessly self-releasing from moulds due to its outstanding shrinkage properties.

Kerax Kerawax 4600 is a paraffin based wax which has been designed for easy release from moulds. It is most commonly supplied in pastiles or flakes but also occasionally in blocks too.

Fragrance oils will mix in easily, and a great scent throw can be achieved. We suggest using between 5-10% of fragrance oil to begin with, and experimenting from there as to what works best for you. It will hold up to 12% fragrance load.

It will take on colour relatively easily, with either a wax/oil based dye, or a mica powder. Dye chips, and other liquid dyes specific for waxes will also work. We suggest testing a small amount of wax with your chosen colourant before doing a full batch.

Can be blended with other wax based products – including liquid oils to create a softer or more scoopable wax.

Kerax Kerawax 4600 is a vegan friendly wax, not containing any animal products. No animal testing has been carried out either.
