Kerax Kerasoy Pillar Wax (4120)

4120 is a soy based wax which has been designed for easy release from moulds.

It is most commonly supplies in pastiles or flakes but also occasionaly in blocks too.

It will take on colour relatively easily, with either a wax/oil based dye, or a mica powder. Dye chips, and other liquid dyes specific for waxes will also work. We suggest testing a small amount of wax with your chosen colourant before doing a full batch.

Can be blended with other wax based products- including liquid oils to create a softer or more scoopable wax.

Fragrance oils will mix in easily, and a great scent throw can be achieved. We suggest using between 5-10% of fragrance oil to begin with, and experimenting from there as to what works best for you.

It is a vegan friendly wax, not containing any animal products. No animal testing has been carried out either.

Do not heat this wax above 90°C) as it can burn the wax and cause it to have a strange odour.

We strongly suggest experimenting to see which works best for you, but a good starting point is:
-Melt below 75°C
-Add fragrance at 55°C – 65°C
-Pour at 55°C
-Allow to cool slowly to minimise “frosting” of your finished product.

Store in a cool dry location out of sunlight.
