Thinking about creating your own bath products with us? Well, in that case, you’re going to need to know about our assessments.
Read on to discover all that you need to know before purchasing your first assessment so that you have the knowledge and confidence to make them work for you.
What does an assessment mean?
Soak Rochford assessments are a “pre-made” report compromising of a range of ingredients. They are usually a set base recipe, with many fragrance and colourant options.
Each individual assessment listing details which ingredients you will be able to use. You do not have to buy every colour and every fragrance specified, but it gives you the permission to do so.
You will not need to send samples of anything you have made to Soak Rochford or our assessor.
What do I get in there?
The listing is for the assessment (Cosmetic Product Safety Report) only. It is a document which is written in your name and gives you permission to sell your products legally within the UK and also EU.
Ingredients are bought individually.

What happens after I purchase?
After purchasing, please complete a submission form online.
We have to share your contact details with our assessor in order for them to add your details to the report. The report can take up to 4 weeks to be returned, however, we will always aim to have them back much sooner.
Once you have paid for this report, our website will redirect you to an area where you can download the recipe.
Once you have the recipe/method, you may start to practice making products, prepare your labels, register with the portal, and start creating your PIF file.
