Absolute No-Go’s in Home, Bath and Body Creations

Stay out of trouble and avoid these unnecessary mistakes

Getting started in a new industry means learning all the do’s and don’ts to avoid getting into unnecessary trouble. Lucky for you, we have compiled the three most common mistakes here in this blog.

Keep reading to discover which three absolute no-go’s you have to avoid as a cosmetic creator.

Unofficial Recipes 🧪

Our recipes have been developed and approved so you know that you’re not going to cause harm to your customers (or their bathtubs!)

Experimenting with your own mix of ingredients or using a random recipe from elsewhere, means that your products haven’t been deemed safe to use. Instead, stick with the recipe that comes with your chosen assessment so you know that it’s going to be safe, high-quality and easy to use.

Food Imitation 🍔🚫

Because our creations contain harmful-if-ingested ingredients, they can’t be confused with food.

Although it might sound obvious not to consume a bath bomb, no matter how much it looks like a strawberry cupcake, it’s best to avoid this potential confusion entirely. Not only could it make a customer extremely ill, but it could also cause you a legal headache. Therefore, avoid any designs that have even the slightest resemblance to food.

Copyright ©️

If a design has copyright protection (for example, Disney characters) you don’t have permission to replicate them.

So, no matter how much you know your customers would love a bath bomb that looks like a certain big-eared mouse, save yourself from getting into some serious trouble and stick to generic shapes or original creations.
