When growing up, we were always told that gifts that had meaning behind them meant more than materialistic things. So, we think this year, you should combine the two and give dad something he can use while putting thought and effort into what you’re giving him.

Here are some ideas of what you can make for Father’s Day gifts as a cosmetic creator:

• Whipped Soap:
  Also known as shower fluff or body souffle, this product is thick and luxurious enough to use as a shaving foam. Choosing a masculine fragrance such as Blue Man or Savage will also leave him smelling great long after he’s left the bathroom!
  
• Melt and Pour Soap:
  This assessment is so versatile, it can create many different products that can be made to fit a specific individual’s preferences. Create a classic bar of soap, go retro with soap on a rope or introduce something new and fun with a soap sponge!

• Liquid Soap:
  This is another recipe that can be used to make so many different creations such as shampoo, hand wash, body wash and bubble bath. This is a particularly good choice if you know mum’s always having to share her favourite, expensive toiletries with your dad! You could even colour it in blue so it’s obvious to him which one is his to use. Maybe even consider creating his own personalised label.
