Christian Stott lists some uses for it: “prodding people you don’t like, picking snakes up, turning lights off when your feeling lazy, stroking animals that are out of stretching reach”
Whilst Ray Shilling describes it as: “a pokey stick is an invaluable tool. Use it to measure ridiculously small amounts of dye, stirring & poking jelly soap, bashing the living [daylights] out of your mould when your bath bomb/jelly soap gets stuck. Soap sponge tester. Poking whipped soap to test consistency & doubles up as a drink stirrer. Also good to use as drumsticks (2 required) when you’re waiting for your mix. It’s a pokey, stirry, tappy, wacky stick”.
